Made of flax linen, this lovely alligator design does good in multiple ways. Made of natural flax linen, it is eco-friendly and 10% of proceeds go to Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.
The restoration of Louisiana wetlands and a healthy gulf are crucial both to the state and to the nation.
Each towel is handmade and screenprinted with eco-inks in New Orleans by a local company, Heartsleeve. The fine, fine linen is produced in New York State with yarn from Southern France and becomes softer and more beautiful with age.

Made of natural flax linen produced in New York with yarn sourced ethically in Southern France, each towel is handmade and screenprinted with eco-inks in New Orleans (by Heartsleeve, a boutique artisan screen-printing company where workers are treated fairly).

Her mission is to create sustainable products that give back to social and environmental needs, all made beautifully in the U.S. Each ingredients/material selected to make the products are made from eco-friendly materials, regionally sourced and locally made, with the intent of making sustainable products more commonplace and ultimately ubiquitous. Matter uses 100% recycled boxes, paper, and packaging, eco-inks in printing, cradle-to-cradle certified boxes via USPS when shipped, and eco-friendly business cards.
