Made of natural cotton and leather byproduct, this belt is made with people and the environment in mind. The artisans, all women, are part of a small weaving fair trade cooperative and paid fair wages. The cooperative offers training and educational programs, including those on nutrition since malnourishment is a significant issue faced by the Mayan community. The artisans take any leftover material (nothing is thrown away) and turn it into accessories, which they sell at weekly local markets. All dyes are non-toxic.
Frolic's objective is to work with cooperative groups, small family businesses and local artisans, providing fair wages and ethical manufacturing and thus improving the economic well-being of the women and their families.

Frolic will gladly accept unused or defective merchandise for return or exchange within 15 days of the date of purchase. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error and any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Sale items:
All sale items are final sale.
Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
Shipping:
Please note that you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
